The Labryinth

The Labyrinth is a hide and seek style puzzle game that relies heavily on sound. As a creature stalk’s our protagonist through Limbo he must complete tasks without making noise. If the creature is alerted to the player's position, he only has a short period of time to hide before the creature devours his soul.

What i did

This game was made for major project at uni for year 1 game design along with a team of 6 others during a 6 week period.

I was mainly organising the teams and keeping them on track as well as organising schedules, tasks on a hack & plan chart.
my other tasks included assisting my designer team mate with documents and level building.

 

The labyrinths story

The Labyrinth is set in a limbo/Upside down version of the hospital our main protagonist has just recently died in. He awakes and is confused, as he explores the opening level of the game he comes to realise that there are tasks that need to be completed to move further into the maze and eventually end. While completing the first set of tasks he hears something in the vents, it almost sounds like a form of dark demonic sonar being used, an assortment of clicking and gurgling.
